Task 4.2

Hybrid Tooling Techniques.

(S. Azcarate)

Hybrid tooling was defined during the first workshop at Freiburg as “the capabilities of producing a mould insert combining two or more processes in sequence”. A second questionnaire will be circulated among the partners that in the first questionnaire declared to be able to do hybrid tooling. Detailed information will be collected to know what limits of individual processed are overcome and what are the requirements to do it. A final report will be delivered comparing different hybrid tooling methods and identifying their limits.
