This workshop attracted 18 attendees from Slovenia, Spain, Italy, Denmark, UK, France.
The workshop consisted of two parts. In the first part, the invited speakers gave presentations of the following micro-manufacturing topics:
Title: Research Fellow/Project Engineer (One Post).
Duration: Fixed-term for 3 years (FP7 Project on organic electronics) with a possibility of this being extended.
The European Platform for Micro and Nano Manufacturing (MINAM) will hold its official launch event on Wed 23rd Jan 2008 in Brussels , providing an excellent opportunity for companies and research bodies working in this key industrial technology area to understand the benefits to European industry to be delivered through the platform and opportunities to partake in its activities.
This event took place in Budapest, on September 6, 2007. One of a series of 4M workshops being held in the New Member States, this workshop focussed on Micro Optics and Micro Tooling.
The Workshop was organized by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Department of Manufacturing Science and Technology under the frame and support of the FP6 Network of Excellence 4M (Multi-Material Micro Manufacture: Technology and Applications) and the FP6 Integrated Project Production4 (Production for micro). The workshop was also sponsored by the Hungarian Tool Makers’ Association and the Scientific Sociaty of Mechanical Engineering.
