And the winner is.........
At this year's 4M conference we were able, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Commercial Micro Manufacturing (CMM) magazine, to offer a prize for the best paper.
To select this, the chairperson of each session was asked to put forward papers they considered worthy of consideration for the prize. The winning paper was then selected from this shortlist by a panel led by Professor Wolfgang Menz, the Network Chairman.
After much deliberation it was decided to award the trophy and a cash prize of £400 to the paper entitled "Machining of polystyrene by UV laser radiation for patch clamping device fabrication". The award was presented by James Woodcock, assistant Editor of CMM magazine, to the first named named author Sandra Wilson who is affiliated to both FZK and Cranfield University.
