Training on wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM), with emphasis on wires for wire EDM. Training on micro wire EDM.

Outcome:

Micro wire EDM was introduced to the engineers. Special attention was put on differences between EDM and micro EDM as well as requirements for electrode materials. The company is selling cutting tools and they are extending their assortment to wires and electrode materials for electrical discharge machining. The sales stuff were trained on the EDM technology to give technical support to customers.
