Autostamp is a SME specialising in sheet metal working for the automotive industry that has had long term collaborations with the University of Naples Federico II in the above mentioned fields. Autostamp recently submitted a technological enquiry regarding the identificaion of problems in micro feature characterisation in sheet metal products for car body parts.

Outcome:

Assistance was given by University of Naples Federico II to the Autostamp company about the general aspects concerning micro feature characterisation in sheet metal products for car body parts in advanced materials such as High Strength Steel (DP, TRIP). This collaboration could lead to a future paid RAS initiative through a dedicated consultancy contract and project development. It could also lead to the involvement of Fox Bit in 4M as Affiliated Partner.
