Magnaghi Aeronautica is leading aerospace company that has had long term collaborations with the University of Naples Federico II in fields as diverse as metal processing, advanced materials technology, metrology, nondestructive evaluation, material characterisation, etc. Magnaghi Aeronautica recently submitted a technological enquiry regarding the establishment of appropriate metrology procedures for nondestructive evaluation of micro features in aerospace products of Magnaghi Aeronautica interest.

Assistance was given by the University of Naples Federico II to Magnaghi Aeronautica company about the general aspects concerning the metrological problems applied to the micro features of the aerospace products of Magnaghi Aeronautica interest. The collaboration could lead to a future paid RAS initiative based on a dedicated consultancy contract and project development.
