Workshop at DIAMOND Light Source -- Micro-/Nano Engineering Beamline & LIGA technique

STFC Technology (CMF of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) and Diamond Light Source are holding a workshop on "Micro-/Nano Engineering Synchrotron Beamline for high-aspect-ratio structures and LIGA applications". The workshop will take place on 21st November 2007. The venue will be Diamond House in Didcot, UK, which is close to Oxford City.

STFC Technology (CMF of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) and Diamond Light Source are holding a workshop on "Micro-/Nano Engineering Synchrotron Beamline for high-aspect-ratio structures and LIGA applications".
The intention of the workshop is to inform about technical capabilities of a potential LIGA beamline at the Diamond Light Source. The workshop will also give a good opportunity to form a LIGA / X-ray Lithography interest and user group for the intended beamline in the UK.
The workshop should suit industrial partners as well as academia. The benefits of a UK LIGA beamline will be discussed. There will be also the opportunity to present your company or research group in a poster exhibition.

One Day Cell Handling and Actuation Meeting

A one day workshop will be held at FZK to discuss possible applications for WP10 and WP11 technologies with regards to 4M technologies in
Microfluidics and Micro-sensors & Actuators, in the area of cell transport/handling and measurement systems. The idea would be to discuss current activities in these areas, limitations of current technologies, future directions, and where 4M technologies could be applied.
