Events
4M&P4micro Workshop on Micro Optics and Micro Tooling will be held in BME, Budapest, Hungary on 6th September 2007.
The aim of the event is to introduce the most advanced manufacturing technology for glass and plastic lenses, the background of the optical lens production, and to provide the new high tech knowledge for the interested industrial bodies.
The 2nd International Conference on Micro-Manufacturing, ICOMM-2007, will be hosted by Clemson University and will take place on 10-13 September, 2007.
ICOMM 2007 will include tutorials by leading experts, industry
exhibits, and presentations of the latest research results related to manufacturing processes, metrology, and assembly at the micro/meso-scale.

Aim and Themes
The main goal of the Conference is to provide a forum for experts from industry and academia to share the results of their in-depth investigations and engage in interdisciplinary discussions about the creation of micro-manufacturing capabilities. Papers are invited to present the latest advances in developing new processes and process chains for multi-material micro manufacture and their applications in microsystems-based products
